On The Fifth Week Before Christmas: Baking Rosemary Beer Bread!

Posted by Karla Militello on

Welcome to week two of "Baking Spirit's Bright" where we will be making one of our baking mixes for you every week until Christmas.

Today we will be making our Rosemary Beer Bread and showing you just how EASY it is to make delicious "homemade" bread!

Get your ingredients together: Besides your Rosemary Beer Bread baking mix, you'll need 2 tablespoons butter (melted) and then 12oz of beer or sprite (room temperature works best!).

Inside your package you'll have a dry mix, you can go ahead and put it in a bowl (you'll need a pair of scissors to cut open the bag). Ahhhh...just smell that rosemary ~ this is gonna be SO GOOD!
You'll then take your beer and pour it over the mix in the bowl and mix it until the batter gets stiff (don't over mix!)
Prepare your pan by taking a basting brush and dipping it into a little of that melted butter and brush it on the inside of the pan. Then pour the batter into the pan and take the remainder of the butter and pour it over the top...oh my!

Pot into the oven and bake at 375 degrees for 45 short minutes!
Look at that crusty outside
When it's cooled enough, put it on your cutting board and cut yourself a slice...
Maybe even put some butter on it, go ahead...dig into that soft, chewy bread YOU just made!
Perfect with soups, breakfast toast and a tasty snack, you'll love how easy and oh-so-good this is!
